7billionideas has made it to the final rounds of two categories in this year’s UK Business Awards for the deployment and success of its innovation platform and employee engagement tool, Spark.
Our first nomination is for the Business Transformation award, and the innovation platform created in partnership with WeShare.healthcare. In just a few months, dozens of ideas have been shared by doctors and healthcare practitioners in the face of challenges posed by COVID-19. To learn more about this project, read our journal entry on the subject.
Our second nomination is for the Customer Centric Organisation, and the innovation platform we created in partnership with British School of Jakarta (BSJ). In the face of a changing competitive landscape, BSJ deployed Spark to engage its employees and capture ideas that could change the school for the better. Working closely with Principal David Butcher, his senior leadership team, and both academic and non-academic employees, 7billionideas was able to use Spark to refocus the organisation. Our combined efforts captured ideas that led to a return on investment of over $1,000,000 USD for the school, a phenomenal achievement by both parties and testament to the focus and drive of all those behind the project.
David Harkin, CEO of 7billionideas said: ‘Today’s news about our nominations is fantastic to hear and is a credit to the wonderful teams involved at 7billionideas, Weshare, and British School of Jakarta. We are honoured to be nominated, and of course we hope to pick up an award or two.’
